I Wašíču

Today, the three of us had a lecture on Lakota culture and religion tied with Catholicism. For most of the lecture, we talked about the various nuances of sounds in the Lakota language. At one point, the Deacon instructing us taught us the phrase "I Wašíču." "I" means "mouth" and "Wašíču" means "white man." He said that phrase is given to people who constantly talk, constantly talk, constantly talk.

In the past week, I have been told how fast I speak...

Apparently, my Jersey mouth is a little bit noticeable?

Fail....
